about

Hello, and Welcome!
I'm Saba (also known as Sab Sab) and I started Cheeky Rummager as a way to share bits and pieces of my adventures in London, beautiful handmade projects, quirky shops, travel, good food (and coffee, of course), daily inspirations and life's simple joys, so that I could become more aware of preciousness of ordinary life. As I go through my day, I look for opportunities to see the funny side of things and instead of always worrying about being efficient (and perfect) I try to potter around, tinker and explore more Although I find it hard to stay in a grateful frame of mind and I take things for granted, my blog is a way to capture the moments that pass practically unnoticed and to find the joy of what is around me (in good food and good places) and most importantly to believe in myself.
Thanks for following along!

Few things about me...
* I am originally Persian and I've lived in Dubai, Sheffield and Berlin, now living in London.
* I constantly multitask in ways that pull me away from my present experience.
* I can't bring myself to try meditation.
* Whenever I feel blue, drawing cheers me up (it really lifts me out of my crabbiness).
* I tend to dwell on hopes for the future.
* When I'm introduced to someone, I often forget the person's name as soon as I hear it.
* My comfort food is chocolate. I crave chocolate all the time.
* I love ordering books from Amazon (literally has become an obsession).
I'm addicted to Booja Booja ice cream. It is super healthy (has only four or five organic ingredients) and it's so delicious that I literally go crazy (in a good way)!
* Sometimes, I take things way too seriously.
* I always wear red lipstick (Ruby Woo!).

"Normal day, let me be aware of the treasure you are. Let me learn from you, love you, bless you before you depart. Let me not pass you by in the quest of some rare and perfect tomorrow. Let me hold you while I may, for it may not always be so.One day I shall dig my nails into the earth, or bury my face in the pillow, or stretch myself taut, or raise my hands to the sky and want, more than all the world, your return." - Mary Jean Irion
