Bringing A Bit More Colour To Bricklane!

Normally on bank holiday weekends Andy likes to drift around London or rummage around in the garden doing this and that. However this August bank holiday he was uncharacteristically active painting a mural at a school near his office in Shoreditch.
The agency he works for 'Living' does pro-bono projects for clients who need help with design but don't have marketing budgets. Living had been working with Christ Church Primary in Bricklane since December last year and Tim who works in Andy's team came up with the concept to rebrand the school which was inspired by all the art, design, shapes and textures found in the immediate environment.
The main event of the rebrand was to paint a huge mural on thirty metres of wall in the school's playground. Andy spent the whole week before the bank holiday stressing about the weather because they forecasted heavy rain (typical British summer weather) but luckily the team pulled together and got the wall completed by 2pm on the Saturday just one hour before the heavens opened.
I really love the mural that Tim came up with. It shows a fun journey to school with kids playing, crazy animals and even a space rocket. All made out of simple geometric shapes. Clever these designers aren't they?! They even teamed up with ESA Films who made a film of the day which looks awesome. Have a cheeky look! :)
