A Pukka Life!
I am a big fan of Pukka organic teas and few months ago I stumbled upon A Pukka Life in Whole Foods Market and thought maybe I should read about the story behind the Pukka products. This book is about living in a a truly authentic way - a life that suits you and allows your health to flourish (inspired by Ayurveda). Ayurveda is translated as 'knowledge of life' and in particular, "it tells us which substances, qualities and actions are life-enhancing and which are not." It has nothing to do with rules and restrictions; it is about offering you insights into how you can fulfil your potential based on your unique and individual constitutional make-up.
A Pukka Life focuses on constitution, nourishment, cleansing, rejuvenation, strength and stillness, ecology and even relationships (reading the chapters on constitution and nourishment first will equip you with some of the basic principles of Ayurveda). If you are interested in learning more about your health, your heart and mind, yoga and herbal medicine then definitely read this book! It will help you comprehend your life on a deeper level and allows you to enjoy it more. I particularly love this quote from 'nourishment' chapter, "The life of all living beings is based on food, and all the world seeks food. Complexion, clarity, good voice, long life, understanding, happiness, satisfaction, strength and intelligence all come from food." I totally agree! Don't you?!
Pukka teas!
If you enjoy drinking herbal teas, I'd definitely suggest you to try the Pukka teas. Some of my favourites are cleanse, harmonise, love, clean green and revitalise. I also bought the Pukka Glow supplement (a concentrated blend of some of the world's finest herbs gathered from fertile organic soils and it helps bring radiance to the skin) to see if I'd really "glow" afterwards! Well, to be honest, I'm still waiting... ;)

Have a 'Pukka' (excellent) weekend! xx
